International Scientific Conference “Novruz — holiday of peace and good”

Dear colleagues!

We invite you to take part in the International Scientific Conference “Novruz — holiday of peace and good” which will be held in Ashgabat city, in March 21, 2013. The conference is conducted in accordance with the Decree № 12761 of 11 January 2013 of the President of Turkmenistan.

The organizer is the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.

The following breakup groups will work at the conference:

• Modern possibilities of celebrating Nowruz in the Epoch of Power and Happiness.
• Sources on the history and historiography of Nowruz.
• Nowruz influence on the development of material and spiritual culture of the East.

The objectives of the conference are: the study of history and traditions of Novruz Bayram, knowledgediffusion about the festival heritage in the international community, the significance of Novruz Bayram in the developing of peaceful relations among nations and promoting the historical and cultural traditions of the peoples.
