«The value of „Altyn Asyr“ Turkmen lake in improving of ecological status of the region» International scientific conference

Dear colleagues,

We are informing you that the date and place of holding the international conference «Turkmen lake of Golden Age — 2010» have been changed.

The international conference under the title «The value of „Altyn Asyr“ Turkmen lake in improving of ecological status of the region» will be held on 24—25th March 2010 in Awaza tourist area (Turkmenbashi c.). The thesis of the reports, the registration list will be accepted up to 5th of March 2010 on e-mail: turkmenlake@rambler.ru.

Conference is held in accordance with the decree of President of Turkmenistan, adopted on the 6^th of November, 2009.

Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan is the organizer of the conference.

Main themes of the conference:

Scientific-technical, social-economic and ecological aspects of use of collector-drainage water;

Achievements in the sphere of use of collector-drainage water in irrigated cropping, livestock farming, fish breeding, irrigation of pastures;

Change of state of biogeocenosis in the zone of influence of collector-drainage network;

New technologies and equipments for purification and desalination of collector-drainage water.

Aims of the conference are generalization of domestic and foreign experience; establishment of mutually advantageous cooperation and attraction of partners for realization of effective projects of scientific investigations in the sphere of use, purification of collector-drainage water; promotion of adoption of new technologies, acquisition of economic effect from their use.

According to suggestions of the participants themes of the conference may be added.
