International Scientific Conference “Ways of development of the biotechnology in Turkmenistan”

Dear colleagues,

According to the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov dated on August 29, 2012 № 12527, Institute of Botany and Institute of Medicinal Plants of Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan carry out the International Scientific Conference “Ways of development of the biotechnology in Turkmenistan” from 20 till 21 November, 2013, in Ashgabat.

Working languages of the Conference: Turkmen, English, Russian.

Work of the Conference will be conducted in the following areas:

1. Agricultural biotechnology;
2. Ecological biotechnology;
3. Medical biotechnology;
4. Pharmaceutical biotechnology;
5. Food biotechnology.

The following issues will be considered and discussed at the conference:

- modern state, perspectives, problems and safety of the biotechnologies and their innovative solutions;

- biotechnological achievements in the field of agrarian and ecological systems, pharmacy, medicine, food industry, animal breeding and veterinary science;

- bio industry: development and reproduction of the live organisms; bioconversion of the organic waste and the biofuel; biotechnology and natural connections; transgenic products and their safety; sea biotechnology; biotechnological monitoring of the natural and anthropogenic (technogenic) systems;

- development of the molecular, membranous, cellular and tissue biotechnology;

- bio nanotechnology, bioengineering, bioenergetics and bioinformatics.

Other subjects can be added according to offers of the participants of the conference.

We would like to request interested in the conference participation individuals to send us the theses of their papers (in volume up to 1.5 p., Times New Roman font, 14 point type, line spacing 1,5) and summaries to them (no more than 0.5 p.) in English or Russian, till September 15, 2013 with indication of your full data (surname, name, date of birth, passport number, by whom and when was issued, terms of the passport validity, working place, position, private and working phone numbers, fax and e-mail, and the passport copy) to the following addresses:

Conditions of the theses’ design: in the beginning, in the heading – to specify surname, name, patronymic of the author(s) (completely) and name of the state (14 point size), then name of theses (capital letters, 16 point size); the next line – surname, name, patronymic of the lecturer (if the paper has some authors); and after one free line – description of the text of the thesis (14 point size). We would like to ask not to archive (compress) the files.

The expenses related to your participation at the conference (two ways air and railway transport costs, accommodation and catering services) will be paid by the organizing side.

Organizing committee reserves the right to select the scientific theses and to publish them.
